The Notts Rural Enterprise Action Group has successfully secured LEADER funding for North Notts which offers an exciting new source of funding for rural business to help secure a sustainable future for rural North Notts.

Funding is available under the Rural Development Programme for England 2007-2013 (RDPE).  A Local Action Group for North Notts called the Notts Rural Enterprise Action Group (NREAG) has been established to lead on the implementation of the programme.

NREAG’s main priority is to maximise spending and support for rural businesses and with an approximate total of £1.5 million in grant support to award over 3 years.  Projects are typically funded at 50% of total project cost.
